Sorority Row: Roommate Edition

sorority-row-poster-2

There’s a little horror movie that came AND went called Sorority Row which I thought deserved a little bit more attention. The movie was dreadful which was expected but there was a certain element that the film had which made it watchable. It was the fact that it already knew that it was going to be dreadful, it was well aware that the concept was ridiculous and instead of trying to prove itself as a serious horror contender, they had fun with it. The final resort was a ridiculous, over the top, fun time.

I remember going to the press screening and for the majority of the film, the audience was deathly silent but I found myself consistently chuckling at the screen. With lines like “I don’t have time for catch me, rape me!” How could you possibly go wrong? The screening for the films was at Grauman’s Chinese Theater and there was a delicious reception beforehand with free drinks, delicious snacks and yummy deserts.

I left the screening fairly excited for the press junket the next day. The girls looked like they had a blast filming the movie so I need that they’d have a blast during the interviews. I got to the Four Seasons early Saturday morning and after munching on some delicious foods, I was called in for my interviews. My first set of interviews were with Rumer Willis and Jamie Chung. I’ve always been fascinated with Rumer because she’s been such a target in the media and I began liking Jamie after one of my friends kept forcing her down my throat. Both gals were very fun to talk to and they were very down to earth. I had a feeling that Rumer would be very reserved but she was very energetic and was cracking jokes all around. The next two girls were Briana Evigan and Leah Pipes. They were an absolute blast as well! Overall, I had such a great time at the press junket. I was a bit bummed that Audrina had pulled out last minute because I had such thought-provoking questions to ask her….aww well they’ll just have to wait.

After the celeb interviews, I decided it’d be a bit fun to interview some of the students of UCLA and find out there worst roommate stories. None of them were as bad as accidentally being murdered then having your body dumped down a well and left to rot but a few of them came close…..especially the one having to do with pee haha The final segment came together and is featured below as well as on DailyBruin.com   ENJOY!
