R.I.P. Brittany Murphy

heaven102

This past weekend I was in San Diego when I was awoken to the news that Brittany Murphy had passed away. It was such an unexpected text and I had felt as if I was punched in the stomach when I found out the news. She’s been in so many of my favorite films and was so beautiful in such a unique way. I think it’s so tragic that she, like Michael Jackson, has been shunned by the media and public for the past few years and really was forgotten about. She had so much talent that it’s a shame she was never able to pick herself back up. I’ll always remember her from films like Girl Interrupted, 8 Mile, Uptown Girls and Sin City. I always had a crush on her; I remember when I first met her in 9th grade, I literally freaked out. She was so sweet and spoke with such a soft voice. I confessed to her that I always had a crush on her and she giggled. She was so sincere in everything she did. I’m truly going to miss her work.

I still can’t believe how young she was. When I hear about someone passing away at such a young age, I start to always become concerned. Life truly is so short that it is essential for us to appreciate every second that we have. Not only was Brittany an amazing actress but she also had a song that I use to listen to constantly in high school.

Rest in peace Brittany!!!!
